This hopefully will mean mainline flying and less regional flying. Perhaps some growth.

Looks like F9 goes to RAH
After weighing the options, looks like F9's BOD had chosen to pair with RAH. Good luck to them.

Sun quickly setting on a once great airline
As many know, though some may not Midwest airlines was purchased by regional carrier Republic Airways. Republic is a regional carrier that operates feed for several major airlines. Midwest decided not hire back its employees and Republic will take over. Midwest will become the nations first virtual airline. It is important for those who fly Midwest to know that right now, and pretty soon all the time you will NOT be flying the real Midwest airlines. You will be flying on a regional subcontractor. Here is the latest article.

Welcome
Hello, all
First off, thanks for stopping by. This is my first blog, so I'm a bit of a greenhorn. Thats okay, I guess we all start somewhere. The reason I started this blog is to keep airline employees, passengers, and future aviation prospects informed on current issues affecting this industry. Honestly since the 1978 deregulation act this industry hasn't been the greatest for employees. Combine that with the tragic events on 9/11, last years oil spike, and the recent reccesion has put a tremendous stress on airline employees. However, despite this we continue to operate as the safest mode of transportation in existence. So again welcome, I encourage people to post latests news and happens in the airline industry. Thank You,
Chris Gobeille
